Dezvoltarea capitalului uman al organizaţiilor: importanţa şi succesul investiţiilor în capitalul uman

În zilele noastre este relativ simplu pentru multe companii să acceseze aceleaşi tehnologii şi informaţii, astfel încât unicitatea lor constă în calitatea oamenilor de care dispun. Managerii companiilor de succes au înţeles că nu banii, clădirile sau tehnologiile ci oamenii sunt cei ce fac diferenţa între organizaţii. Capacitatea de învăţare şi dezvoltare a organizaţiei, precum şi informaţiile care stau la baza inovaţiilor tehnologice şi la inventarea unor noi produse, au la bază capitalul uman. Managementul capitalului uman presupune o aliniere între individ şi organizaţia din care acesta face parte, fiind o provocare pentru managerii viitorului. Capitalul uman este principalul indicator al performanţei organizaţiilor care activează într-o societate şi o economie informaţională. Capitalul uman, definit ca şi caracteristică individuală, fiind o combinaţie între moştenirea genetică, educaţie, experienţă şi atitudini faţă de muncă şi viaţă în general, este important pentru organizaţii deoarece este o sursă de inovaţie şi re-inventare strategică, indiferent de forma pe care o ia acesta.
Care este însă valoarea unui angajat competent şi loial? Cum pot companiile crea acel mediu care să genereze comportamente de muncă eficiente, fără a pierde capital uman prin fluctuaţia angajaţilor?
Răspunsul la astfel de întrebări nu este simplu, în ciuda evidentei nevoi de angajaţi loiali şi competenţi pe care o resimte orice organizaţie.
