The modern life of the 21 century has become so challenging, that individuals from different socioprofessional categories (from managers to employees), are experiencing a lot of forms of pressures, that need to be recognized, measured and managed, because of their high costs for the individual and organization. This article discusses the current state-of-art of the occupational stress topic and presents some important instruments for measuring and diagnosing occupational stress at different levels and through different methods
