Keywords:
intelligence, cognitive ability testing, cultural adaptation, reliability, criterion validityAbstract
This study presents the Romanian adaptation of Intelligence Structure Test (Intelligenz-Struktur-Test, IST). It describes the process of cultural adaptation and standardization. The psychometric characteristics of the Romanian version (normative data, reliability and validity) are described. These show that IST can be used in the Romanian cultural area with great confidence. Several supplementary validity studies conducted in Romania are also discussed.
